About This Event
AFRO-WURLD is a cultural movement by NIGHTLIFE LAGOS focused on promoting Peace, Unity, Togetherness, and reminding Africans of the beauty and strength of being African.
Across the continent, we continue to face issues such as xenophobic attacks in South Africa, insecurity and kidnapping in Nigeria, racism in North Africa, and other forms of division. AFRO-WURLD brings a different approach — using music, nightlife, entertainment, and culture to create a space where people can connect, celebrate, and unite.
“Kuzunguka Utamaduni” is a Swahili phrase meaning “Around the Culture.” Swahili was chosen as the theme language because it is one of Africa’s most widely spoken languages and represents our shared continental identity.
From Lagos to Africa and beyond, AFRO-WURLD is more than an event — it is a celebration of who we are, what connects us, and the future we can build together.
